Andrée-Anne Ratthé joins us to talk about her interactive dance piece, Branché. This work was designed with an adolescent audience in mind. Andrée-Anne invites, or rather encourages her audience to take out their phones and interact with technology and social media during the performance. Next up is Helen Simard, the choreographer of No Fun, being presented at Passerelle 840 later this month. She brings along some of her collaborators/performers. Dancer Emmalie Ruest and band member Roger White help Helen paint the picture of what sounds like a very fun (despite the title) rock n’ roll piece inspired by Iggy Pop.
Andrée-Anne Rathé vient nous parler de sa création interactive Branché, conçu pour un public adolescent. Elle invite, ou plutôt encourage son public à sortir leur cellulaire et à interagir avec les médias sociaux et autres technologies pendant la performance. Nous recevons ensuite, Helen Simard, chorégraphe de No Fun présenté a Passerelle 840 plus tard ce mois-ci. Accompagnée par une de ces interprètes Emmalie Ruest et le musicien Roger White, elle nous dresse un portrait qui nous semble franchement amusant (malgré le titre); une pièce inspirée de la musique rock n’ roll de Iggy Pop.
